Stella Diana have been defined by specialized press as one of the few valid shoegaze proponents in Italy: they have been active for ten years and have released three critically acclaimed albums: works which have redefined the features of the style although they have always been faithful to their loud patterns of saturated guitars, delays and distortions, paying tribute to New Wave (Chameleons above all) and the Italian heritage (Denovo and Diaframma). After the first two works, Supporto Colore released in 2007 by Seahorse, and Gemini released in 2010 by Happy Mopy, the Naples band as chosen complete independence and self-production for their new work: 41 61 93.

OTHER REVIEWS
Supporto Colore is a deserving record, and Stella Diana is a group to keep an eye on. Our only suggestion for the following releases would be to be braver: finding more diversity across tracks and finding new paths, without needing to leave the showgaze setting. With the talent shown in their first record we are sure that the result would be really outstanding.
ROCKSHOCK about SUPPORTO COLORE
Some may be puzzled by such a philological salvage of a genre like this. But the truth is that today nobody in Italy plays showgaze with so much authority. Seriously.
ROCK IT about GEMINI
To be clear, who loved the previous “Gemini” will not be disappointed: the soul is still shoegaze, a genre Stella Diana know and propose better than anybody else in Italy. The new show – which is really good – feels instead more like post-punk and singer-songwriter than fuzz like pedals and noise.
ROCK IT about 41 61 93
A great studio performance for a group of stage aces, showing a spontaneity long time not seen. A valuable opportunity to discover a rare gem in our Country.
